When we say that we are ‘more than skincare’ this speaks to ‘HOW’ we conduct business. How we do business brings our PURPOSE, IMPACT & PROFIT ethos to life. Our impact is not only on an international scale, but we are also embedded in our local community, making sure we are doing the right things and working with the right partners to deliver a win-win outcome for all.

MK SNAP

As a brand that strongly believes in equality and equity, orders from our website are fulfilled by the amazing team at MK Snap! We are proud to work with the learners at MK Snap, a remarkable charity that transforms the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Milton Keynes.

MK Snap advocates for nurturing work skills in a caring environment, focusing on ability over disability. By partnering with them, we’ve witnessed tremendous growth and empowerment in the learners lives as they fulfil orders you place. The learners take great care in picking, packing, and posting your orders. SMILE

Simple, Mindful, Impactful, Love-Fuelled, Elevating

HAS A SIMPLE GOAL - TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND CAREGIVERS IN OUR COMMUNITY

We have identified the lack of continuous support for patients, their families, and caregivers outside the hospital setting. Whilst in hospital they have access to hospital staff, charities and volunteers for face-to-face advice, support, and guidance. Back in the community, they are left trying to piece information together which usually leaves them with more questions than answers.

The side effects that treatments, including cancer treatments, have on the skin is not widely talked about. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and over 60% of what we put on our skin can be absorbed. Skin conditions and treatments that impact our skin can affect confidence and self-esteem hence we are taking the ‘one less thing to worry about’ approach using the power of nature.

We have therefore partnered with The Lewis Foundation to run monthly workshops for cancer patients and their carers. We believe that everyone deserves a reason to smile, and through the SMILEproject, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of cancer patients. This workshop serves as a platform to connect, learn, and uplift each other, creating a supportive community that brings smiles to the faces of those going through challenging times.

Hair & Skin Clinic MK

The Hair & Skin Clinic MK was founded in response to finding that there was not enough support or empathy for clients with hair loss or problematic skin conditions that were impacting their quality of life. The passion and driving force behind this clinic came from personal and shared experiences ranging from significant hair loss due to the death of a loved one, children with alopecia, mums facing hair loss through chemo and other treatments, as well as supporting many people through severe eczema, psoriasis and acne.

The goal at The Hair and Skin Clinic is to not only to treat your condition, but provide a holistic approach, allowing you to look and feel confident, in control and ready to share your smile with the world.

We are proud to partner with an organisation that perfectly aligns with our purpose, impact and profit ethos!

Al’s Pals

Al’s Pals is named after Alan Dumbell who received cancer treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH).

Alan noticed that throughout his treatment, although he was surrounded by his loving family, he still felt very lonely and lost at times, and he often discussed having a ‘buddy’ to support and help him where he felt things were missing. It is his legacy to have a cancer service like this in and around Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire

Al’s Pals support cancer patients and their families with emotional and practical support in hospital and at home. Our partnership allows us to extend the impact, ensuring that patients not only feel supported but also have access to gentle, chemical-free skincare during their journey.
