Infused with natural ingredients containing anti-inflammatory properties, making it suitable for those with skin conditions such as Rosacea.

NAME MEANING

This range was inspired by the ‘Yoruba’ language, spoken by one of the three main tribes in Nigeria. The word ‘IYA’ in Yoruba means ‘Mother’. To us, it depicts a queen, strength, beauty and nurture! The queens in this tribe come in all races and genders.



HOW TO USE

Take a small amount of IYA Body Food and gently rub it between your hands before applying to the targeted area. This allows for the Shea Butter to melt slightly, resulting in a smooth and silky application to the skin.

Feels extravagant

Initially it was hard to soften and apply, but the contents have softened a little and now it rubs in easily. My arms are showing the post-menopausal signs of ageing and the cream definitely helps blur the wrinkles. I also use it for the heels of my feet, my elbows, legs and press any residue on my hands onto my neck and cheeks. Just bought my second tub of it.

Helping with my psoriasis

I'm impressed! This is soothing and reducing my psoriasis. I have had 1-3 inch patches on my elbows and knees for over 20 years. I've been using this for about a month and now there are little pathways of normal skin breaking up the patches. At this rate I'll have normal elbows and knees by the summer 🌞

The only thing to soothe my psoriasis in 18 years

This product is fabulous. I’ve had psoriasis for 18 years - it’s along my hairline, eyebrows, in my ears and I’ve got various spots on my body and legs. ….(Other than prescribed steroid creams which as a result have ruined my skin and made it soo sensitive- stay away from steroids!!) this is the only product that has reduced the redness and made my skin smooth and stopped the itching. Previously the skin on my face was so red, but using this product every night has reduced the scales and the redness so much. You can only notice I have a psoriasis patch if you are really up close. I’ve used so many rich moisturisers to try and tame my psoriasis and this is the only one to work - I would recommend this to everyone- try it as you won’t regret it!
