Enhancing Your Face Using Products Powered by Nature

They say that the face is the “mirror of the mind.’’

When people talk about skincare, the face is the first thing that comes to mind, however, the key word here is ‘skin’. Skincare is about our skin in its entirety, the largest organ in our body, which is our barrier and protector.

Throughout our product journey, we have mastered from the neck down, with products that for the past 4 years, have nourished, loved and cared for our body. After years of research, experimenting and testing, we are finally ready to master from the neck up - our face!

Our face is the first thing that people see! It is the front of our head, and is a home for all of our imperfectly perfect features. From our forehead, to our eyes, our eyebrows, nose, cheeks, mouth and neck, our facial features are the base of our appearance.

The face acts as a unique canvas for self-expression, and of course is the perfect blank canvas for any make-up artist. When make-up artists look at your face, they take into account the shape of your head, the shape of your eyes, your eyebrows the fullness of your lips, and your cheekbone structure to curate a look that suits your entire face, and enhances your outward appearance.

This face of ours is also our form of identity. It is the window to our expressions, our emotions and is how we are recognised. It is the home to our five senses.

It is one of the most important parts of our body, so it deserves to be treated as such!

The key to good skin is cleansing

A good facial cleanse lays the foundation and provides the perfect blank canvas whether you use make-up or not.

Typically a normal facial routine would include a single cleanse or double cleanse for some, followed by the use of serums and/or facial creams. There is no doubt that in today’s world, there is a lot of noise about the ‘actives’ such as Retinol and Vitamin C.

Regardless of whether you use actives or serums, if you don’t have good and clean skin, the impact will be minimal.

So what should you look for in a cleanser?

The face needs a product which can multitask. It needs a cleanser that clears the skin of all impurities, whilst maintaining its natural oils. It needs ingredients which nourish and hydrate the skin, keeping it feeling soft and supple.

Cleansing can be done in one or two steps, for non make-up users, a single cleanse will suffice, and for make-up users, a double cleanse is definitely advised.

Once your blank canvas has a clean foundation, we then start to think about the next layer, and this is where our serum comes in.

What should you look for in a serum?

The purpose of a serum is to lay the groundwork for a moisturiser. A good serum feeds the skin with nutrients which are absorbed deeply, helping to manage a range of skin types and conditions.

The face needs this deep absorption to keep the skin feeling plump and hydrated, allowing your face to have a natural glow.

The uniqueness of MIMO facial serum is its dual-action and purpose. It not only provides that crucial post-cleansing protection layer, but also feeds, nourishes and enhances.

Good skincare helps to embrace and enhance your imperfections using the power of nature.

Ingredients such as safflower oil, manketti, lemon and shea butter to name a few, ensure the desired results driven impact. Anti-ageing properties, boosting of collagen production, decreasing fine lines, skin brightening, management of blemishes, scarring and hyperpigmentation - this is what MIMO brings to the table.

On top of all of this, MIMO helps to manage skin conditions such as eczema, acne and psoriasis.

We are all about giving the face the special attention it deserves.
