They say that “to fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness”.
February is the month of love, and is usually catered to those in romantic relationships. Whilst we recognise how wonderful it is to be in love, to be a wife, girlfriend, husband or a boyfriend, people often forget that self love is just as important.
A saying that really resonates with us is to “put on your own oxygen mask before helping others”. Why? Because “you can’t pour out of an empty cup!” You are no use to others if you don’t make sure that you are ok first. Prioritising yourself and your mental health allows you to show up for your friends, family and partner!
So how do you begin to love yourself? First you must recognise that you are imperfectly perfect. Everybody makes mistakes and there are going to be things that you wish you could change about yourself. Instead of beating yourself up over these things, learn to embrace them! “You attract what you put out,” so if you love yourself, you will find people who love you just the way you are, imperfections and all.
Once you have mastered the art of self love, this will radiate into all aspects of your life! It means that you will now be open to loving the people around you, loving your community, loving the planet you live in, and the animals that inhabit it.
This love will also have an effect on the people around you! If you show love to your community, not only will they show it back to you, but they will pour this love into the environment, it’s a butterfly effect!
Why are we saying all of this? Because since the launch of our brand, we have witnessed how our products have impacted lives, impacted people’s confidence and enabled some of our customers to love themselves again.
We thank all our tribers for supporting us and aligning with our values. This February, we are saying that we love you, just the way you are, imperfectly perfect.
When you join the tribe, that means accepting who you are, how you look, and using products powered by nature to embrace and enhance yourself!
Love affects everything around us. The more love that we feel for ourselves, the more we can share with others, which will lead to a greater impact on our livelihood.
So put yourself first for a change, and learn to embrace and enhance your imperfections, knowing that you are imperfectly perfect.
