The ‘Connecting the Commonwealth’ event organized by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) in Lagos on the 28th of June was a clear success. Bringing together The Rt. Hon Lord Mayor of the City of London, The Nigeria Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, the President and CEO of the Dangote group, Vice Chairman of Famfa Oil Ltd, Strategic Partners, CommonwealthFirst Export Champions and SME representatives was certainly no small task.
Unlocking Business Opportunities, from London to Lagos and Beyond
So why was Naturally Tribal? CommonwealthFirst is CWEIC's flagship initiative to help SME’s trade and invest across the Commonwealth. As a proud CommonwealthFirst Export Champion and through its operations in two key Commonwealth countries (United Kingdom & Nigeria), Naturally Tribal is investing and trading whilst facilitating and championing the empowerment of women, creating employment and showcasing the significant value and credibility of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.
It’s Not Just Talk: We have started to witness the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council ‘walk the talk’ first hand! When you embark on the journey as an entrepreneur, the contacts, relationships you build along the way can make or break you. Having a seat at the table with Naturally Tribal, bringing the perspective of SMEs, of Female Entrepreneurs, of the Diaspora was a welcomed honour.
